How early before my session should I arrive?
We recommend at least 15 minutes before the start of your session. It can get get busy close to check in times, so allow yourself plenty of time if possible. With our lounge and bar this will also give you time to check in and grab yourself any drinks before you start playing!
Is there plenty of parking close to The Caddy Club?
Yes. We have 15 spaces directly outside our entrance doors that are purely for the use of our customers. There are another 150 spaces on site within 50 yards that also free and unlimited to use for anyone visiting The Caddy Club.
Can I hire golf clubs?
You can bring your own clubs, or hire from us. We charge just £5 to hire a set of clubs and these can be shared between everyone in the bay if needed. Our recent partnership with PXG allows us to offer top of the range irons, woods and putters from PXG. We have RH, LH and junior sets available and can be reserved when booking a bay or short game zone.
Any tips for making the most of my time at The Caddy Club?
Best bit of advice if you are booking a sim is to download the Trackman App and create an account before you arrive. Logging in via the app is so quick and also stores all the data from you time with us. Great for checking progress and improvements.
I've never played golf before. Does that matter?
Absolutely not. We are the perfect place to start your journey as when booking a sim bay you can learn at your own pace without the daunting prospect of playing on a course with established golfers around you. There are also so many games and practice features that can help get you started. Our short game zone is a practice facility rather than a play area, but it is still an ideal place for beginners to learn the game. There are lots of coaching aids to use, including foam balls.
Do I use normal golf balls and tees in the bays?
Yes, normal golf balls and tees can be used in the bays. However any golf balls used must be clean, unscratched and cannot have any pen markings on them as dirt and ink transfers onto the screens. The Trackman launch monitors are also more responsive to plain golf balls, so any with lines or patterns occasionally don't register. We provide balls free of charge should you need them.
What is your cancellation policy?
We operate a 24 hour policy for all sim bay and short game zone cancellations. As long as you cancel at
least the day before your booking then you will receive a full refund, or you may move the booking to another day/time. Should you need to cancel on the day of your session, then unfortunately your booking will remain charged in full.
Our PGA Pros operate their own cancellation policies. Please make yourself aware of their terms and conditions.
Do you offer memberships?
Not yet, but memberships along with a host of other new additions are on our radar to introduce in the not too distant future. As it is a completely new business we just want to see how it is used and what our customers want from The Caddy Club before we commit to a membership package.
